From engineered vacuum systems to specialized pumps, we design and supply solutions tailored to your process requirements
Vacuum equipment selected to meet the required process duty and operating conditions.
Vessels and receivers may form part of the overall arrangement, depending on plant requirements.
Pipework and connections arranged to suit the required system configuration.
Associated pumping equipment selected according to the process and agreed plant scope.
Each project starts with an understanding of the application and the conditions the equipment must meet. The following stages provide a useful overview of the process.
Assess the application, process data and operating requirements.
Determine the appropriate equipment and system configuration.
Develop the design around the agreed process duty and scope.
Assemble the agreed equipment package at the factory.
Performance-test equipment as applicable to the agreed scope before despatch.
Discuss commissioning, troubleshooting and lifecycle support requirements for the installation.
Our vacuum systems support a wide range of industrial applications, helping improve efficiency, reliability and process performance.
An industrial vacuum plant is a system of vacuum equipment configured to meet a particular process requirement. Depending on the application and agreed scope, it may include vacuum pumps, vessels, pipework and filtrate pumps.
The equipment depends on the application. A system may incorporate vacuum pumps, drive systems, vessels, receivers, pipework and liquid-handling equipment. The final configuration is determined by the technical requirements and agreed scope of supply.
Useful starting information includes the application, required operating pressure, gas load, vapour content, operating temperature, material requirements and site constraints. Existing process flow diagrams, P&IDs and equipment drawings can also help clarify the requirements.
Process Vacuum has dedicated pump testing facilities. Whether a complete integrated plant can be tested as one unit depends on the project and the agreed testing scope. This should be confirmed with the Process Vacuum team.
